Last Day Of School Before CNY

Little Miss Social Butterfly donning on her cheongsam (from my online store) for a cheongsam parade in school today.

In addition, she also took part in a lantern-making contest last week. Today, she will be going up the stage to receive her ang pow as a reward to the lantern-making participants. She can’t wait and has been talking about this for days! If you ask Alycia if she’d like to take part in any of these, she will give me a disgusted look and say NO WAY is she going to wear a cheongsam, LOL! And no way is she going to make a lantern! Alycia will instead raise both her hands to get selected if there was a sports competition.

For those of you on a road trip traveling back to your hometown to celebrate CNY, remember to drive safely. It’s way better to be a little late than never. We will stay put in KL and my parents will be coming next week to celebrate Sherilyn’s 8th birthday. Yup, this princess wannabe was born during CNY, on the 8th day :)
