Our Sunday – 30 April 2017

The girls got up very early today to soak in some glorious morning sun and sweat it out at the park this morning. Lately, Cass and I are into sun gazing. I actually feel much more energetic after gazing briefly at the morning sun and soaking in the sun’s energy every morning. Go Google sun gazing to read more and practise this with caution lest your retina gets damaged.  Alycia had fix an appointment with her classmate at the park to practise running for their school sports day. While the entire lot of family members were at the park, I had a blissful and peaceful 2 hours at home alone – doing house chores 😀  All I need is quiet time to myself without anyone calling or bugging me and I’ll be happy, even if it means engaging in some slavery chores. I am simple like that.

After everyone had showered, we went to church.  Lunch was at Bread Fruits…

My divine roast veggies and Portobello salad with grilled salmon, washed down with a glass of freshly juiced beetroot + lemon + cucumber + dragon fruit juice. Cass and Drama Queen had mango + pear + orange juice.

Grilled chicken avocado sandwich.

Breakfast set with arugula

While shopping for groceries, we saw a humungous fish head, half the height of Drama Queen at the fish section. I think that fish head probably weighs heavier than Drama Queen!

Back home, the big princess continued with revision in her room. Her first term exam starts on Wednesday.  Cass still has a Math paper to sit for on Tuesday but she’s been chillaxing as if her exam is over.  Drama Queen’s exam is over and she’s been practising some dance moves for a performance in school.
