Christmas Dinner

We had steamboat on Christmas day. We have not had steamboat for almost 1 year already, can you beat that? That’s because we always feel very thirsty after having steamboat. I think there must be loads of MSG in the salty but tasty soup.¬† Another¬†major turn-off about having steamboat is that we are normally all sweaty and uncomfortable after the meal, unless we eat in an air-conditioned steamboat restaurant.

We went to this steamboat restaurant called A-HO at Taman Desa. It’s a branch of Ho Ho Steamboat in Sri Petaling, the one that’s always packed.

We ordered an extra plate of QQ tofu, my favorite and an extra plate of fishballs for the gals.

This time, I didn’t drink the soup like it was water and I didn’t feel thirsty after the dinner. Thankfully it was also a very breezy and windy night, so we didn’t sweat much. Will definitely have steamboat again soon as the gals enjoy their meals very much.

Happy 2008 To Everyone!

We will all be checking into a 5-star hotel in KL today for a one-night stay and count down to the New Year. Not letting anyone know which hotel we’ll be staying just in case there are stalkers out there LOL! Hopefully our plan to go to the fish spa in Pavillion will materialize. You heard of this spa where you can immerse your feet in water and be ‘massaged’ (more of sucked and bitten) by a school of tiny fish? Hubby and I are raring to try that out. Also hoping that we can bring the gals for a monorial ride round KL.

What are your plans tonight?

To everyone, here’s wishing you all a very happy, healthy and fruitful 2008! May 2008 see a rise in our blog PR and more offers pouring in!
