Health Freak Mommy’s Meals – 24 February 2016

My breakfast yesterday morning…

Image may contain: food

Skinny sugar-free, preservative-free and additives-free yoghurt with Pic’s sugar-free cashew butter, toasted pumpkin seeds, organic chia seeds, raw walnuts, blanched skinless almonds, drizzle of maple syrup and a small handful of coconut cookies.

I am surprised that Cass  loves Farm Fresh’s sugar-free yoghurt, which is a tad sour and light. She says it tastes like Moo Cow frozen yoghurt, except that Farm Fresh yoghurt is not frozen. I agree with her too!  She likes to eat her sugar-free yoghurt with cashew nuts and crumbled homemade cookies.

Lunch was baby greens salad with organic cherry tomatoes, Korean kim chi, almonds, cashews, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, toasted sesame seeds, sauteed minced pork and salad dressing composed of organic apple cider vinegar + maple syrup + dash of naturally brewed soy sauce.

Dinner was at our all-time favorite neighborhood restaurant which serves  delish dishes at really affordable prices. The mil was still feeling a wee bit under the weather and yesterday was our part-time maid’s off day.  And I wasn’t in the mood to cook too 😀

Stir-fried baby spinach, braised tofu with fish paste and sweet and sour fish fillet.

  1. Hi again from the girl with Crohn’s 🙂
Glad to know that we had a pretty similar lunch today! I had mixed salad greens, grapes, grated carrots, parsnips, almonds, cashews, brazil nuts and cooked mince pork.
Also to follow up from my last comment, I do take a ‘cocktail’ of medications on a daily basis and unfortunately, I don’t live in Malaysia. Any idea if I can order Izumio and Super Lutein in Australia?

    1. Hi girl! So sorry to hear that you have to take a cocktail of meds daily. Really wish that you dont have to eat meds anymore.
At the moment, there is still no office in Australia. If you have relatives living in M’sia and are going over to OZ, you can request their help to bring them over to you. I have several customers who are doing it this way.
Just curious, how did you land on my blog? Most of my readers are mummies and I think you’re one of the few teenagers out there following my blogs 🙂

      1. Hi Health Freak Mommy!
I remember reading your blog for the first time around 3 years ago, then found it again 2 years ago and have been following ever since. I don’t really know how I found your blog in the first place to be honest, though I do believe I was doing some self interest research online because I was too bored when I was “homeschooled”
I remember that the first post I read on your blog 2 years ago was:
Maybe I was looking for some cooking recipes? 🙂

        1. Hi Catherine
You do sound like someone who is very matured in her thoughts despite only 16YO. My 13YO girl would never be googling for recipes or following a mummy blog 😀
Keep in touch and all the best to you in your studies and health!
