Shopping At Mid Valley…. And We Lost Our Maid

Daddy brought us for shopping at Mid Valley Megamall today. He had wanted to buy Sherilyn a pair of Crocs coz the shoes that she normally wears to school is soooo ‘chan‘ – black, torn (and repaired once) and looks really worn out and pathetic. After lunch at Canton I, we went to the Crocs shop. Everyone got a pair of Crocs except Alycia coz she kept telling me that all the Crocs shoes are so ugly! Huh, ugly? Better still, saves daddy money, coz Crocs ain’t cheap. I kept telling daddy to buy the imitation Crocs from places like Giant but daddy said ‘no’… oh, so ok lar, you pay, not me… and I happily chose a pair of platform Crocs…. I’ve been eyeing this shoes since last year! Shall post pix of our Crocs soon.

After buying our Crocs, we shopped for groceries at Jaya Jusco. Before we left Mid Valley Megamall, I suddenly remembered that one of my blog readers told me that I can get cranberry capsules from GNC, so I asked daddy to bring us to the GNC shop. When we were busy talking to the sales assistant at GNC, I asked my 2 older gals where kakak is. O_o… they said don’t know…. daddy panicked. Kakak was no where to be seen. Luckily my 3 angels were with me and not with her. Daddy then asked me to stay at the GNC shop with the gals and he went to search for kakak. After a frantic half an hour search, he found her near Jaya Jusco supermarket, with a guard. Kakak was obviously day dreaming and lost sight of us while we were walking to GNC. Even when daddy brought kakak to GNC, she lost sight of daddy again! Daddy was irate coz he was in a hurry to go back to his office for a meeting with his staff. He gave kakak a good long lecture. Kakak is quite a day dreamer and I can never ever trust her to manage the kids alone. I also gave a short lecture – that in future, her eyes should be fixated at us when she walks. In future, she should also jot down our mobile phone numbers, just in case she gets lost again, she can call us. Kakak really gave me a scare today.

  1. My maid’s the same. Nearly lost her at MV. Eyes everywhere except on us. Bringing her out, I have to take care of both her and my daughter. That’s why I never like to take her out. Thank god she was smart enough to wait at Jusco and not wander around to look for you.

  2. Really dangerous lost of maid…luckily she not ran everywhere to find you all, else it would be more difficult to look for her…

Happy Chinese “New” Year to you and your family too…May this Ox-picious new year brings good health, happiness, peace and prosperity.

  3. Yeah…at least Alycia got the good taste…CROCs design not my cup of tea either… expensive and ugly!! 😛

What a scary…I’ve dare not to have a live-in maid, coz I have enough to look after my own baby, don’t think need to look after other people daughter too!!!

Don’t you think so… before you have a maid, you just need to think of what to buy for yourself & your family, where to eat, need to caring for what they eat and don’t eat too….what to do etc….. after you have a maid…if is a professional trained one, then is ok… but get a day dreamer, especially those who only concentrate on chatting with the guard or any kinds of men…it will definately driving me crazy!! Well, don’t get me wrong… for me as long as the maid done the job that we requested exactly what we want, and don’t bring their mess (Love Affair/ or having party @ home while boss away) to the boss’s family…. I don’t really care what they doing outside, coz at the end of the day, is their own choice. 1st, we didn’t force them to come to M’sia to work for us, is their own choice, 2nd, if they are really seeking for a job, they will work as they told, otherwise, we pay all these fees for the maid to assist on our house chores…just a wasted money, if they don’t perform a good work and can’t sack them due to the 2 years contract!!!

My part-time maid is the kind like “give them an inch, they required a yard!!” type…till my ang mo hubby also beh tahan and complaint to me!!! so, sometimes I’m thinking do we really need them to help us? are they really helping us on the housework chores??? So far, I haven’t meet the one that up to the satisfied genuine cleaning my house as I told, I even making a [To-Do job for housekeeper] list, sticked on the fridge in indonesia-english language to remind the maid and myself on their duties….yet my job required only cleaning & ironing…and it cut-corner badly!! every times I told them what to do…the feedback always is: [Yeah, mdm. yeah la, mesti mau buat, kita tahu]…but after they left, you check it out…still got at least 3 or 4 places didn’t done, and next time they come told them again…still get the same feedback!! LOL…. now, I stopped hired them and decided to DIY!!! why should I paid almost RM500 per month, and still need to followed-up on myself, might well I save the RM500 for my daughter’s diapers & milk powder money or get myself a manicure treatment better than giving to someone who can’t do their job properly!!!

In the UK, the part-time/full time housekeeper doing their job as you told…hassle free. when I return back here…my brain is getting painful everyday…bad tempered…moaning, winching!!! All these signs begin after we have maid. And she not even a stay-in one!!!
