FollowToday hubs and I had lunch at Red Kettle, our favorite cafe nestled in our lovely neighborhood. It’s the first time in years since we last had a meal there, just the two of us. I can’t even remember how many years we’ve not dined in there. The food quality hasn’t changed and still as superb as it used to be.
Red Kettle closed their outlet at our hood for several years so that the owners could focus on their new outlet at Starling Mall. They recently moved back to our hood but because of the prolonged lockdown, we have not dined in at their cafe.
Hubs cooks chicken chop at his central kitchen, yet doesn’t seem to get bored of them. I asked him why he ordered chicken chop as he cooks them almost daily and he shrugged and said he wanted to try and compare ?
We ordered a Carbonara takeaway for Alycia and Cass. I also got some Portugese egg tarts and a loaf of coconut bread. The Portugese egg tarts from Red Kettle are simply best in the world.
