FollowNursing is one of the most demanding professions. Between long shifts, having to deal with wounds and bodily fluids and wastes, endless responsibilities and caring for patients, nurses hardly have much time for themselves. While cute nurse shirts may not alter the challenges of the gruelling job, having fun designs and cheerful prints can add a little joy to an exhausting day at the hospital.
Having crossed paths with so many kind nurses who took care of my daughters and myself when we were in the hospital has given me great respect and admiration to nurses. After my fibroid removal surgery some years back, I bled badly after I went to the toilet several hours after the surgery. A nurse came to help me and she was really patient with me – she told me that she would clean up the blood on the room floor and told me not to worry and to lie down. That is why a small gift, such as a nurse Christmas ornament set, to the nurses who have cared for you or your loved ones would make them feel deeply appreciated.
I think nurses deserve a lot more than their basic salary. A small gift for the nurses who cared for you or your loved ones, such as a box of chocolate or a nurse badge reel, would make them feel deeply appreciated.
Since Christmas is approaching and if there’s a nurse who has impacted your life positively, why not get her a little gift such as a nurse Christmas sweatshirt or a nurse t-shirt as a holiday cheer? A little seasonal gift can go a long way when everyone is working hard to make the holidays special for others.
A badge reel nurse featuring a favourite character, funny quote or cheerful design can be a very good gift for a nurse as it’s both practical and cute. Nurses truly deserve moments of fun to express themselves and to get through difficult days.
In demanding jobs such as those in the healthcare where physical and emotional stress are inevitably woven into their every day life, something as simple as a playful shirt or a cute badge reel can make the nights feel lighter and shorter.
