Poor Baby

Despite all the pain that she had gone through, Baby C is still not cranky and does not cry all day. As long as she sees me and have my teat teats all night long, she is a very happy and content baby.

I’ve just gotten back from the hospital. It breaks my heart to see her wail her lungs out each time the nurses inject the antibiotics into the IV line. One might think that injecting the medicine through IV is painless but if you had gone through it before, there is still a sharp pain when the cold liquid passes through your veins.

Baby C looked so pitiful here as she waited for the nurse to administer the jab on her.

After crying all her energy away, Baby C slept oh so soundly here.

  1. i know how painful it is becos i have experienced it before. it really hurts even for an adult like me. poor poor cassandra 🙁 could the nurse softly brush the back of her palm when the antibiotic is being injected? it can help to lessen the pain.

  2. Oh dear..poor girl…don’t worry..I’m sure she will be back home soon..
Hope that she will have a speedy recovery and all’s well…take care of yourself too…

  3. Just read all your posts on Baby C. My eldest had UTI when he was 4 months old and I was very worried too cos he had dilated kidneys (I told you before). He didn’t go thru the dye test cos they thought it’s not necessary. Don’t worry too much. Take care.

  4. the picture of her really touches my heart. I cant imagine such a young baby just born into the world and going through that. But she is such a brave little one, yea? she didnt object to the nurse’s presence

  5. My heart aches so bad when I see little Cassie’s pics. I dunno how you could handle it. I would cry buckets. I pray her kidneys are normal.

  6. Gosh, despite all the pain and suffering, can see that you are working hard to breastfeed her (saw her chubby little arms!)

Pray that Baby C will be well soon.

  7. I just so scared to see the needle….it is so tiny and long….when Jona admitted, I just wish that I’m the one that replace him to suffer all these…

  8. Thank God that Baby C is out from the hospital, she is really chubby and cute leh… so geram to see her chubby cheeks…. 🙂
