My friend cum sifu / team leader posted this in our team’s Facebook page this morning, to encourage us to never give up and the messages are staring at me, telling me not to give up… in whatever struggles that I am mired in now. And I’d like to share this with you too.
Everyone has their own struggles but if you have a steely will power and persistence that never breaks, you will succeed too, just like these famous people!
I’m a 50+ mum of three grown daughters, now back in my beautiful hometown of Ipoh and slowly rebuilding a quieter, gentler life. After years between Ipoh and KL, I’ve returned to my roots to spend time with my parents in their 80s, my soul-healing cat, and the simple things that matter most. I blog and vlog about family life, home cooking, Ipoh food finds, and everyday moments that make this season of life meaningful.
I do product reviews and accept sponsored posts on my blogs.
I hope you'll enjoy reading my blog as much as I enjoy sharing my day-to-day adventures and mostly boring ranting :P
Thanks for being here. 💛

Here is one I read recently from Kevin O’Leary: how much are you willing to do/ give up for your passion? He loves photography and knew he really couldn’t realistically have a steady job and pay bills. So, he went academic, got his degree etc and made TONS! He is a regular on Dragons Den, or is it Shark Tank. Anyways, now he has $ to pursue his passion and is having an exhibition of his photos.
A less serious one here, not sure where it came from: If at first you don’t succeed, skydiving is not for you!

Hey Chris, Kevin’s quote got me into some deep thinking. I think I really need to move out of my comfort zone!
