Whoever this Matt H is, he is disrespectful! It’s ok to be pro-LBGTQ, but nobody needs to be destructive and be showy about it. Such a cheap and thoughtless stunt. And who suffers? Not him! Such total disregard!
The strange thing is the local authorities were aware of his antics…I hope that there was a caveat in his contract that would null any payment if there was such unacceptable behaviour.
It is totally ok to say one accepts people of all colour, shape and size, and religious background and sexual orientation. There is just no need to be violent.
While on a rant here…just saw a TV documentary on the Mormon Church. It was revealed they have billions of dollars stashed away and not much being used for charity or community support. Not only that, USD 1 billion from the church in Canada was redirected to their Brigham-Young University in Utah. It seems this is quite legal as it is going to an educational facility. However, the Cdn govt needs to look at it more closely…there is only a tiny fraction of Cdn students in BYU and for sure it did not cost a billion in USD! Also, none of the students are allowed to be LGBTQ. Plus that church basically forces tithe giving from its members! On top of that, if any member’s child comes out of the closet, they are ostracized.
Because of this one crazy and disrespectful artist, so many other people suffered – from the concertgoers to the other artists, food vendors who have spent tens of thousands of Ringgit to stock up on food, and other workers. It’s a ripple effect. MH had agreed to the organizers not to create a ruckus prior to the concert but oh well… He should be arrested but his entire band left our country before action could be taken against him. Now other countries like Indonesia and Taiwan have cancelled his concert.
As regards the Mormon Church, it’s not very right for them to transfer so much money out of Canada to a university where only a tiny fraction of their members attend. The main purpose of getting tithes from church members is to support charity works and evangelism. They have really strict rules imposed on their members!

OMG! Well, he could have orchestrated the whole thing to get attention and now, he’s famous all over the world. Honestly, I didn’t even know that he’s a singer (except that he was Taylor Swift’s ex bf) until this incident.
