…..with her crying and puking. Each time she cries, she will surely puke, whether it is a 5 minute wail or a 10 minute wail. I still won’t really mind if she pukes during the day or at the dining table during meal times but when she cries and pukes on herself and on the queen size bed at midnight, this drives me nuts….. and this always happens. It happened again last night at close to midnight.
Alycia and Sherilyn had not taken their afternoon nap yesterday as we were out almost the whole day, so I put them to bed early and went down to work on my computer. Half an hour later, I heard a child crying, which sounded like my neighbor’s toddler’s cries. When the cries turned into choking and sounds of puking within less than a minute, I knew for sure that it was Sherilyn and I ran upstairs to the gals’ room and saw Sherilyn’s face, hair, pjs and bed covered in her vomit as she had vomitted in her sleep in a supine position. What a terrible mess she had made and I had to wake our maid up to help me clean up the mess.
It took us almost forty five minutes to clean up the mess – changed the sheets, bathed Sherilyn, blew dry her hair, mopped the floor, etc. What angered me most was that my hubby blamed me for all the mess – saying that I shouldn’t have gone downstairs when the gals are asleep. I really hate all the blaming. It wasn’t anyone’s fault yet he pointed the finger at me. I should have blamed him back coz he was in the bathroom and heard Sher’s cries yet did not do anything. Really so pissed off with him. He thinks it’s so easy being a full-time mum who has to work from home. Wait till we switch positions and he’ll understand how I feel.

Yeah. Understand your feeling as working mummy. Sometime we can’t control our feeling and blaming each other.
Hi Shireen, just calm down a little, I guess that is human nature to start blaming one another but not ourselves. For the time being, why not concentrate on Sherilyn? What makes her pukes everytime?
Take it easy Shireen, my boy fearles also like that, once he cry he vomit, he cough he also vomit, since baby time till now. Now i always keep a small pail in my room to stand by. I know how tired and how stress to clean up the mess.
It’s definitely hard being a mommy at home. But you are definitely a pro at it.

my eldest used to vomit easily when she cries but as she grow older it stops. i think her tummy is stronger now. be patience ya…normally when the 3rd baby on the way, the 2nd child always buat hal! it happened to me and it didnt stop there. middle child will always need extra extra attention.
did Sher have a bad dream for her to cry in her sleep?
i know the feeling of being blamed, it happens all the time, so you are not alone Shireen, i know it sucks big time. They think that mommyhood is not a full time job, they always think it’s the most easiest job, some even think that it’s not a job at all…i pity them for being stupid

Shireen, cool down and keep calm. Life is like that for mothers but at least by the end of the day, you can tell the world that you have gone through all these and still survive as a great mom!
maybe she didn’t take her nap thats why she cried till she vomit. err.girls were asleep ma, dont go downstairs then do what wor..hehe..nvmd la, me oso encountered many times with my kids..remember u r pregnant ah, dontbe so mang jang k
hmm don’t be so mang chang, maybe ask her why cry until puke :S…probably she was afraid or something.
My little girl also got the same character as Sherilyn. Exactly the same cry till she puke but I dont know whether she do it on purpose or what. Aiyor u pregnant now why so angry with your hubs , cool down since you got a maid to clean the mess.
Aiyo, kesian. Have to wake up the maid some more, the maid must be mad as well. Anyway, married life is like that – sometimes I blame you, sometimes you blame me. So, take it easy-lah.
Husband is always like that….not even offer helping hand, but, like to pin point….my husband also like that…and usually, I will scold him back (I’m fierce) and ask him to do the cleaning up, instead I just continue sleep again with kids after clean them up….ha,ha…so, he will learn not to pin point /accussed me anymore in future….peaceful ‘world’….
Husbands all same one kah? Like to blame us for everything. Mine sometimes blames me when the kids fall down or hurt themselves. Pls lah… no matter whether it’s my fault or not, I edi feel bad, no need to add salt to the wound, rite? But no need to take to heart, they oso get a fair share of blaming from us. 🙂
