This is Sherilyn’s plate of fried vermicelli, soaked in 1/4 bottle of tomato sauce, which she poured onto the plate of noodles herself. She has a habit of getting sauces (and snacks) from the fridge and pour them herself without asking me, though she gets reprimanded umpteen times for doing that. When I reprimanded her, she adamantly told me that she would finish the plate of noodles and did she? You guess?
I’m a 50+ mum of three grown daughters, now back in my beautiful hometown of Ipoh and slowly rebuilding a quieter, gentler life. After years between Ipoh and KL, I’ve returned to my roots to spend time with my parents in their 80s, my soul-healing cat, and the simple things that matter most. I blog and vlog about family life, home cooking, Ipoh food finds, and everyday moments that make this season of life meaningful.

I hope you'll enjoy reading my blog as much as I enjoy sharing my day-to-day adventures and mostly boring ranting :P

Kids are hard to predict. Hope she finished the whole plate of fried meehoon with extra tomato sauce 😀
i don’t think she’d finish it.

Look like bolognese sauce. I think she did.
Oh..that is alot of tomatoes sauce, hope she can finish it up.
Next time set the plate of noodles aside so she can work on it later. She may change her mind abt dumping ketchup onto her plate!!
