I was just telling my mum that tomorrow, I am going to throw in some dried goji berries or gei chee into Baby C’s porridge. Have you ever tried goji berries or goji juice? I had read that goji berries were recently named “superfruit of the year” by Time Magazine. Hey, if you have more information on goji berries, please do leave your comments in my blog! I’d love to know more about this tiny yet powerful fruit.
I’m a 50+ mum of three grown daughters, now back in my beautiful hometown of Ipoh and slowly rebuilding a quieter, gentler life. After years between Ipoh and KL, I’ve returned to my roots to spend time with my parents in their 80s, my soul-healing cat, and the simple things that matter most. I blog and vlog about family life, home cooking, Ipoh food finds, and everyday moments that make this season of life meaningful.
I do product reviews and accept sponsored posts on my blogs.
I hope you'll enjoy reading my blog as much as I enjoy sharing my day-to-day adventures and mostly boring ranting :P
Thanks for being here. 💛

Hello,
I am one of your silent reader of quite some time. I like to read your blog of such informative and interesting things to read.
I have 2 sons age 4 and 2. I always include gei chi in their porridge since they are young. I would always give them as snacks. Its very healthy. They take it naturally. Each time after cooking porridge and just before feeding them, I would sprinkle some into their porridge. They love it. Old folks said if taken regularly, their eyes will sparkle!

Yes I add some wolfberries into my girl porridge too. Sometime I add in red dates too, it make the porridge taste sweet and nicer.
Oohh I love them lots. My soup is always floating with them. I don’t have any other info about this except that it’s great for eyesight.
