Mid Autumn Festival 2026

Knowing that I’m attending Zumba this evening, Dad thoughtfully cooked a big pot of lentil and vegetable curry for lunch and dinner. So sweet of him! ❤️

He also bought half a roast chicken this morning so that I can have an early dinner. When it comes to roast chicken, the breast meat goes to Haru and me. 😂🐱

Unfortunately, Mum won’t be joining me at the gym for the time being, as the aches and pains in her limbs haven’t improved yet. Hopefully she’ll feel better soon.

We didn’t buy any mooncakes this year because we find most of them a little too sweet. But our neighbour gave us some famous Kam Ling snowskin mooncakes from Kampar, from his wife’s parents’ shop, and Alycia’s BFF also gifted us some less-sweet mooncakes from KL.

So we ended up with mooncakes anyway! 😂

And did you know that a typical mooncake can easily pack around 400 calories? That’s quite a lot of calories for one little round of deliciousness! Depending on your body weight and pace, you could be looking at several kilometres of running to burn that off. 😂

Wishing everyone a very happy Mid-Autumn Festival! 🥮🏮🌕
