I am a great fan of green tea. I love to eat anything that has green tea in it. I especially love macha or green tea ice-cream. I even add green tea powder into my home-made bread. I recently bought this brand of green tea cookies made in Taiwan from Jaya Jusco. Some of the ingredients in this green tea cookies are green tea powder, sesame seeds, cashew nuts, peanuts, pumpkin seeds and soya lecithin. Quite tasty and costs RM7+ per pack.
I’m a 50+ mum of three grown daughters, now back in my beautiful hometown of Ipoh and slowly rebuilding a quieter, gentler life. After years between Ipoh and KL, I’ve returned to my roots to spend time with my parents in their 80s, my soul-healing cat, and the simple things that matter most. I blog and vlog about family life, home cooking, Ipoh food finds, and everyday moments that make this season of life meaningful.
I do product reviews and accept sponsored posts on my blogs.
I hope you'll enjoy reading my blog as much as I enjoy sharing my day-to-day adventures and mostly boring ranting :P
Thanks for being here. 💛

Hi HealthFreekMommy,
Stumbled upon ur site by chance. Do u know where i can buy the Macha powder in KL? Is it the same as Green Tea Powder? And one last q, do u know the Starbucks Green Tea Frapp recipe?
I am hooked to that drink and it is costing me a bomb for my daily fix :).
Babu… I think you can try Jaya Jusco or Isetan as these 2 supermarkets carry many Japanese items. Check out the tea section. Yup, Macha is green tea in Japanese. Some green tea bags consist of green tea powder inside, so you have to read the ingredients section on the box to find out.
No, sorry I dont hv the Starbucks Green Tea Frapp recipe but you can try googling for ‘green tea frappucino recipe’. Hope that helps!
