I was really tied up with work the whole of yesterday. When the girls got home from school, lunch was still not ready!
Thankfully Miss Drama Queen offered to help me blanch the soba and udon, bless her!! ๐
I then popped the grilled sesame chicken that I cooked the night before into the microwave oven and minutes later, we had a yummy Japanese lunch ๐
Cha soba and udon with Japanese soy sauce, sesame seed oil, toasted sesame seeds, scallions, seaweed and grilled sesame boneless chicken thigh. So delish and wholesome! ๐
Iโm a 50+ mum of three grown daughters, now back in my beautiful hometown of Ipoh and slowly rebuilding a quieter, gentler life. After years between Ipoh and KL, Iโve returned to my roots to spend time with my parents in their 80s, my soul-healing cat, and the simple things that matter most. I blog and vlog about family life, home cooking, Ipoh food finds, and everyday moments that make this season of life meaningful.
I do product reviews and accept sponsored posts on my blogs.
I hope you'll enjoy reading my blog as much as I enjoy sharing my day-to-day adventures and mostly boring ranting :P
Thanks for being here. ๐

Good that you have your drama queen to help, she must have got the interest in cooking.
