FollowWhen are we to register our kids (aged 5 this year) for primary school? I was told that we can start registering our kids this year but I have not heard or read anything about the registration in the newspapers yet. Are we supposed to wait for the announcement in the newspapers first?

I have check with some schools. For those kids who born in 2004 will register on year 2009. Normally they will announce on chinese newspaper by March.
Hi, u can register when ur girls is 6 yrs old that’s mean a year before they going to std one that’s what I did to my boy.You can call up the school that you would like to register first before u go to register.
Normally, all the school will open for registration for std one every year on the mth of March.

Hi, I am a regular reader of your blog. I called up Puay Chai 2 (in Bandar Utama) and they accept registration next month for children born in year 2003. Just bring along your child’s birth cert (original and photostat), latest electricity bill, a 4″ by 9″ envelope with 50 cents stamp. Am going to register my son this year.
